W.I.L.D {1}

I decided to join the lovely Rachel over at No. 10 Cherry Tree Lane
and post about what I'm currently "liking."

Here it is, my very first [W]hat [I]'m [L]iking [D]ay:

1.  Sleepy, cuddly Moto.
2. Day trips to Seoul
3. Drawings from my Kinder-students.
4. Caramel latte.
5. The hubs.
6. The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien (epic!)
7. Late blooms.
8. My K.Davis Poppins clutch, find more of her lovelies here.

For the love of house plants.

I love love love having flowers in the house.

I just can't keep them alive
Just call me "death-thumb" but
I can't keep green things alive for the life of me
(pun-tended).

Fortunately for me I've got these babies:

Aren't they great?

I found a wonderful tutorial over here for these rolled paper beauties.

I didn't know where to look for florist wire here in Korea,
so I just trimmed down some old wire hangers
and covered them in green tissue paper.

Add a mason jar and some coffee beans
(my husband graciously sacrificed some)
and you're done!

If you want to get fancy you can even spray them
with a bit of your favorite perfume!

The best part is that I can't kill 'em.

The Magic Tree

This past autumn [2010] was a difficult season for me.
Especially with work.
There were a lot of changes happening, and to make a long story short,
I found myself in a position that was extremely difficult.
I was working long hours, doing extra things, burning myself out,
AND not receiving any appreciation or even "thank yous" for it all.
Needless to say, I was stressed...

Felt Flower Necklace

I found a great tutorial for felt rosettes
and decided to try it out for a necklace.

I think it turned out pretty great, don't you?

Views from {Downtown Pyeongtaek}

John and I have committed to spend as much time outside as possible this season,
enjoying the incredible weather and soaking up the spring time for this
short time before the humidity of summer comes.

This past Saturday we decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather
and spend the day entirely outside...

This past Friday we had the opportunity to visit a beautiful arboretum in Osan
with our Kinder class.

It was so beautiful and we had a wonderful time!

Discipline

John & I are currently going through a season of purposeful waiting on the Lord. We are waiting for Him to give us direction about this next season of our life. For the first time ever I feel good about the waiting, too...
