Today is the fourth anniversary of our wedding day.

For the love of house plants.

I love love love having flowers in the house. 
I just can't keep them alive. Just call me "death-thumb" but I can't keep green things alive for the life of me (pun-tended). 
Fortunately for me I've got these babies: 

Aren't they great? 

I found a wonderful tutorial over here for these rolled paper beauties. 
I didn't know where to look for florist wire here in Korea, so I just trimmed down some old wire hangers and covered them in green tissue paper. 
Add a mason jar and some coffee beans (my husband graciously sacrificed some)and you're done! 

If you want to get fancy you can even spray them 

with a bit of your favorite perfume! 

The best part is that I can't kill 'em.

This past autumn [2010] was a difficult season for me. Especially with work. There were a lot of changes happening, and to make a long story short, I found myself in a position that was extremely difficult. I was working long hours, doing extra things, burning myself out, AND not receiving any appreciation or even "thank yous" for it all. Needless to say, I was stressed...

John and I have committed to spend as much time outside as possible this season, 

enjoying the incredible weather and soaking up the spring time for this 

short time before the humidity of summer comes.
