It's almost that time again...
Fall, fall, fall, fall, fall! Like so many others I consider autumn my favorite season. The weather cooling down, the beginning of the holidays, the changing colors, and the clothes! ^^
I decided to kick-off my celebration of Fall(perhaps I'm starting a little early, but I don't think anyone will be upset)with this fantastic DIY tutorial for a circle scarf.
I'm new to sewing and this tutorial was a great start for me. And who doesn't love a fun circle scarf?
I was so excited that I made two! One in a vintage red:
And one in a floral blue:
I also made my scarves suuuuper long
so that I could loop them twice or thrice!
Linking up all over the place.
Those fabrics are really lovely. And I cannot believe it's almost September. It feels like summer had just started!
ReplyDeleteI can't fault you for thinking "fall" already ... so I am. It's my favorite time of the year. LOVE the scarves...especially that red one!
ReplyDeleteOh, I loove those circle scarves! I made a couple this spring, but now that fall is coming, I may have to make a few more... :)
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I love your fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteI can't quite wrap my head around fall actually starting yet because it's still over 100 degrees where I am in Texas, but I love it too!
Love this!! Infinity scarves are the best. I can't wait until it's cooler here and I can start wearing scarves.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics and scarves!
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME...I seriously thought "I want that". Thanks for showing! I'm glad it turned out. twice.

What were the dimensions of the material?!
ReplyDelete@sweet talk: I didn't use any measurements for my scarves, I just winged it. ^^ But if you do want some dimensions to follow, here's a link to a different tutorial with dimensions: http://thecottagehome.blogspot.com/2011/05/lightweight-spring-infinity-scarf.html
ReplyDeleteHope this helps! =)
